Omaha K-Life's Future

Dear Friends:

Just over one year ago K-Life officially kicked off its Omaha ministry.  Scores of Omaha teens and pre-teens have been involved in small group Bible studies, Club Nights and special activities designed to encourage them in their faith and help them deal with the day-to-day challenges of life as a teenager in today’s world.  We want to thank you for your support, prayers and encouragement along the way.

This year’s K-Life program got off to a fantastic start in September with hundreds of K-Life friends gathering for the fall banquet to hear an inspiring message from evangelist Andrew Palau and firsthand reports of the exciting ministry to Omaha youth.

The coming year will bring a number of changes.  Area Director Ryan Potter will be transitioning to his call to church ministry. Women’s Director Jenica Flippo will be taking a window of opportunity to spend time with family prior to pursuing further education at culinary school.  We want to express our gratitude for their groundbreaking ministry and their unwavering love for our young people.

We are excited to announce that God has already provided wonderful and well qualified staff to keep the ministry moving forward. Please join us in welcoming interim K-Life directors Zach and Danielle Williams!  We look forward to great things in the year ahead.

Finally, we ask that you please consider an end-of-year gift to keep K-Life going strong in 2010 and to bless Zach and Danielle as they take on the challenges of ministering to the young people of Omaha.  Your gift would be a great blessing at this time.

Together in His Service,

The Omaha K-Life Board of Directors
